Schools May Be Required To Develop Plans For Medical Emergencies

Missouri is another step closer to requiring the state’s K-12 public schools to develop a plan for heart emergencies and similar life-threatening situations. The Missouri House has passed the bill, sponsored by Belton Representative Sherri Gallick.
The plan would engage first responders and others to help schools form guidelines. It heads to the Senate for additional work.
