Morgan County Shooting Suspect Held Without Bond

Morgan County E-911 received a report that there was a gunshot victim on Cali Court Road in Morgan County at around 7 a.m. Thursday. The caller and the male victim stated that the victim’s girlfriend, Christina Christian, had shot him.

Morgan County Deputy Sheriff’s and Versailles Police responded to a residence in the 27000 block of Cali Court Road in Morgan County, where Christian was detained at the residence. During the investigation, evidence was seized, and Christian was arrested and transported to the Morgan County Jail for processing. The victim was first treated at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach but later admitted to University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, for surgery.

Morgan County Prosecuting Attorney Dustin Dunklee charged 35-year-old Christina Christian, of Gravois Mills, with 1st Degree Domestic Assault, Armed Criminal Action, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. Christian is being held without bond at the Morgan County Jail.
