MoDOT Working on Lanes in Phelps County

The Missouri Department of Transportation is working on some lane closures in Phelps County. Contractors are planning on resurfacing several ramps alongside Interstate 44 in Phelps County. This is part of MoDOT’s large project to resurface and reconstruct the lanes of I-44 from west of Rolla to St. James. Ramps in both directions in the Rolla and Doolittle area will be closed. KJEL Radio’s Ryan Waelterman has the breakdown of when people can expect construction and traffic.

All work is scheduled from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m.

MoDOT wants to remind everyone dates can change based on the weather forecast. For more information on construction updates around the county make sure to visit the MoDOT Traveler Information Map, and you can find that at My Ozarks Online.com.
