Lebanon City Council has two meeting tonight (mon) beginning at 5pm. First will be a joint work session between City Council and Planning and Zoning. Presentations for future action includes the 2024 Comprehensive Plan and Open Burning. Public Safety will provide an update to City Council as well. The regular City Council meeting will begin at 6:30, and will include presentations of the Gold Leaf Awards, a Local Government Week Proclamation, a presentation from the Chamber of Commerce, and an update from the Board of Public Works.Council will consider two resolutions, one for the Sidewalk TAP Grant for sidewalks over Exit 127, and a resolution on the Downtown Business District Expansion intent. Council will consider the second reading on an amendment to city code related to Chickens in the city. Council will consider the first and second reading on an agreement with Dunn Mowing, and an agreement with Olsson for preliminary design services for Atchley Park, Council will consider the purchase of electric underground materials from Graybar and the purchase of rescue and wildland gear from Feld Fire for the Fire Department. Lebanon City Council will also hear the first reading on a bill related to the dangerous buildings code and a code related to construction codes.
