Cabool Man Injured When Car Hits Trash Truck

An 84-year-old Cabool man suffered serious injuries following a two-vehicle accident at 10:35 Tuesday morning on Highway M.M. 5 miles north of Mountain Grove. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a car driven by E.J. Shelley of Cabool ran into the rear of a trash truck, which was stationary. Shelley was airlifted to Springfield Hospital.
