Show-Me Green Sales Tax Holiday

If tax season has you down, a tax holiday is sure to lift your spirits once those checks are mailed. The Show-Me Green Tax Holiday exempts state sales tax on retail sales of qualifying energy star certified new appliances, up to one-thousand-five-hundred dollars per appliance. Executive Director of The Lebanon Chamber of Commerce Darrel Polluck says that it doesn’t just end at the state level.

The energy star-certified appliances that qualify for the holiday are as follows: Clothes washers and dryers, water heaters, dishwashers, air conditioners, furnaces, refrigerators, freezers, heat pumps, and more.

The holiday will take place during a seven-day period starting at 12:01 AM April 19th, and ending at midnight on April 25th.
