An Earth Day E-waste Challenge will be held Thursday at the Fort Leonard Wood Recycling Center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fort Wood residents are encouraged to bring their electronic waste to the recycling center and register upon arrival to compete for the most unique item recycled. Submit information about your electronic item, such as its year, make, model and size. Government or business electronics will not be accepted. Appliances such as refrigerators, washers, and dryers will not be accepted. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. For more information, call 573.596.3880.
