A Nebo man is facing charges after allegedly being caught in the act of a burglary in Lebanon. According to the report, a Lebanon Police officer located a suspicious pickup that at parked at Detroit Tool Metal Products on True Street, with footprints leading to the building. In the bed of the truck were metal doors from the business. The officer also spotted a small glass jar that contained a crystal substance inside the truck. The officer followed the footprints and encountered a man identified as 36-year-old Larry Dayton carrying a locked toolbox and wire. When Dayton spotted the officer he dropped the items and ran. Another officer responded and took Dayton into custody. During a search of the vehicle, officers located drug paraphernalia, burglary tools, and plastic baggies that contained methamphetamine. Dayton is charged with Burglary, resisting arrest, and possession of a controlled substance with a bond of $25-thousand-dollars.
